Russian Association of Motor Insurers implemented a Direct Loss Settlement system for liability insurance - developed by CMA

The system is based on СМА’s BCS/X solution and built upon the PIE business process integration technology.
March 30th, 2009 – The Russian Association of Motor Insurers (RMA) has launched its Liability Insurance Direct Loss Settlement System, which is being operating by the RMA Clearing Information and Settlement Centre.

СМА Small Systems AB of Sweden, has been selected as the system integrator for the project as a result of a bidding process. The system is based on СМА’s BCS/X solution and had been built upon the PIE business process integration technology. The design, installation, testing and training work-load took a total of six months to be completed.

The hardware and software package of the information and settlement centre direct loss settlement system (APK IRTs OSAGO) is designed for automatic settlement between insurers (System Users) engaged in direct reimbursement for loss.

The APK IRTs OSAGO enables an improved offsetting process between insurers in terms of speed, cost and reliability; enhanced payment security, and reduced risk of errors in insurers’ operations.

The APK IRTs OSAGO utilizes state-of-the-art information technology and the latest in risk management, control, administration and data exchange. It is a message-focused system: the users interact by exchanging messages in XML format.
