Abuja Stock Exchange
The Abuja Stock Exchange decided in 2000 to automate its trading and depository system and after an international tender selected a consortium including CMA who were responsible for supplying the depository system includind advice on hardware selection, integration work with and automated trading system and training of user staff.
The implementation is still in progress and live operations are expected to commence before June 2001. Abuja is the new capital of Nigeria and the market there is expected to take over from the Lagos Exchange as the principal financial centre for the country.
